FAQ

Cost questions

Why is a new base so much more per m²?

Digging out, removing the waste and laying a new porous base is most of the work. The resin layer on top is the smaller part of the cost.

Why do small jobs cost more per m²?

Setting up, mixing and finishing take about the same time whatever the size, so a small path or patio costs more per m², and there's a minimum charge.

Is the calculator price a quote?

No. It's a guide range from our standard rates. The written quote comes after we've measured and checked your base, levels and drainage.
